Vanessa Hudgens will soon start shooting a new movie called “Frozen Ground“, where she will play a 17-year old victim who escaped from a serial killer.

The movie is based on real life serial killer Robert Hansen, aka the “Butcher Baker”, who, between 1980-1983, kidnapped and raped at least 21 women before flying them out to a remote Alaskan location, where he would release them to hunt and kill them.

The movie, set to be released on December 2012, will also star John Cusack as Hansen and Nicolas Cage as an Alaska State Trooper. 50 cent is also rumoured to be part of this new film.

We also heard that the film producers are looking for a lot of extras and actors for some roles… so if you are interested in appearing in the film along Vanessa, you can email an acting resume and headshot to  frozengroundcasting@gmail.com and write “actress” or “actor” in the subject line, or “extra” if you don’t want to audition for a speaking role. It was confirmed that Beastly’s release date has been changed again. From the 18th to March 4th. It’s gonna be a pretty busy year for Vanessa!
